If so, you're the reason I've created my Better System in-person training consulting.  It is the ultimate in accountability, feedback, motivation, and customization.  Because of the in-person interaction, I will gain an in-depth understanding of how you move and how your body reacts.  This allows me to make any necessary adjustments to your form in real-time, and it gives me the ability to swiftly alter your custom fitness, nutrition, and recovery plan so that your time spent with me and on your own is optimized for your health.


how does it work?

If you decide to sign up for a free no-obligation consultation, I will gather information about your past and present fitness, health, nutrition, stress management, and lifestyle through simple, yet thorough, questions and assessments—don't worry, it will all remain confidential—and we'll use our consultation time to address any certain areas, get a big picture, and use that as a basis on how we can work together to help you achieve your goals. 

From there, upon choosing to sign up to be a team, we will craft your goals based on The Better System

Then, I will take all of that information to provide you with the best and most optimized fitness, nutrition, and recovery plan for your body, ability, and goals.

I make it a point to thoroughly seek to understand who you are as an individual and where you would like to be.

Why?

Because all of the aforementioned input leads to the creation of your custom blueprint that will unlock the path to that improved version of yourself.

While I will have your fitness plan for you so that you never need to worry about it, if you do want it for your reference and to follow along, it will be delivered electronically utilizing ubiquitous and simple tools such as email, Google Drive/Docs, PDFs, and Microsoft Office.  I will provide you with any recovery plans, and Evolution Nutrition will be used for any applicable meal plans created by Registered Dietitians.  

All throughout, I will be your guide by your side, available for support via phone (yes, you will get my actual cell phone number) for calls/texts and via email:  this will also be how I will send you any relevant information specific for you and, additionally, how I will help you stay accountable when not in-person.  Furthermore, we will have check-ins every two weeks either in-person or via Skype or Facetime to track your progress, discuss how you are doing, and what to plan for moving forward.


what are the features?

My in-person training includes the following:

  • Initial fitness, health, nutrition, and recovery assessment

  • Goal setting facilitation

  • Custom exercise, nutrition, and recovery programming based on your goals, abilities, limitations, schedule, needs, equipment access, etc.

  • How-to video links of exercises for any additional sessions you do on your own without me

  • Nutrition guidance

    • Meal plans created by Registered Dietitians (if applicable)

    • Food journal analysis (if applicable)

    • Tips, tricks, and strategies to Fueling Better

    • Custom grocery shopping list based on your eating habits and preferences—provided to you after a grocery store tour of your favorite or most-frequented grocery store on how to shop to eat well

    • Kitchen analysis: if you're comfortable with it, I can go through your kitchen and provide recommendations on layout, what to keep, and what to eliminate (toss, donate, etc.) to help you Fuel Better

    • Restaurant analysis: if you know in advance you're going to eat out at a certain restaurant and they have an online menu, I can provide you with which menu items are the healthiest, which to avoid, or what modifications you can ask for so that an item is healthier

  • Email, phone, text support

  • Motivational and adherence support


how much is it?

As you'll see when you explore by clicking on the links below, I offer various pricing options so as best to accommodate you.  Pricing is based on a number of factors:

  • 1 or 2 people

  • Location (contracted gym of mine vs your home, office, gym, or a local park)

  • Number of weekly sessions (1 to 4) that you anticipate works for you MOST weeks (doesn't have to be that amount of sessions every week)

  • Package of sessions, rather than weekly

  • Length of payment terms

 

- Note:  when you see something stated, for example, "2x / week (8 sessions at a time)", that does not mean you are required to always complete two sessions every week.  I understand life happens.  If you miss sessions, you simply pick up where you left off until you run out of—in this example—eight sessions, at which point I will provide you with another eight sessions, so on and so forth.
